Rover is a fantastic ranch horse that stands 16+ hands tall full of beauty and strength- He is a Big Boy!! ROVER (AQHA registered name QUI) has earned his nickname because he is a go anywhere and do anything horse. Rover side passes, checks fence lines, opens and closes gates, has sorted and doctored cows loves water and trails. Although our ranch is near a big highway, Rover is not fazed one bit. He is a great proven horse. This is a turnkey mount ready to go!

Rover carries himself with a lot of class, showing the characteristics of the American Quarter Horse breed very well. He has typical Quarter horse lines, with a nice walk, the Quarter Horse working spirit and a sweet disposition. He rides with a one hand neck rein (or direct reins), on a loose rein, has a great back up (bends at the pole), and stop. Rover will let you open and close gates from him, He has no problem walking across water, down streams, through the thick brush, over fallen trees, up/down/across deep ditches/ravines, in the woods with absolutely no spook. Rover will stand still while being saddled, unsaddles, and groomed. He stands very well while being clipped, bathed, fly sprayed, and for the vet/farrier. He stands still for mounting (from the ground or a mounting block), and He loads and hauls very well. He is the ranch horse all the helpers love to ride. He is easy to catch, dog/kid friendly, and gets along well with all of our other horses, mares and geldings alike. These horses are becoming harder and harder to locate- he is a great one. Rover is a joy to ride whether you are a novice or someone looking for a smooth comfortable trail horse or working ranch horse.
